I had a great hunt yesterday with my buddy, Justin Crump and his yellow lab, Kada. We ended the day with a couple of Western Canada Geese and two limits of ducks. Most of the ducks were widgeon, but the skies were filled once again with pintail.
Hopefully this cold front coming through today and tomorrow will bring down some fresh birds and move some of the thousands of pintail hanging out in the valley on to warmer, southern climates. There are some Mallards around, but we could use a bunch more to finish off another great duck season.
